Born in 1867 as a railroad and military town, the city is Wyoming's center for government, business, and education. The “hub” of Wyoming, Cheyenne sits astride the crossroad of Interstate I-25 & I-80 and is a major junction for its largest private employer, Union Pacific Railroad.
