Red Cross Hands-Only CPR, the meeting location is Little America Hotel and Resort.
 Tony Suarez is a nationally registered Paramedic and is the Red Cross Disaster Program Manager for the Northern Colorado Chapter.  Before joining the Red Cross, Tony was a paramedic with FDNY and a fire department responder on 9/11 in New York City.
The focus of the presentation will be to instruct Rotary members in the latest life-saving method of Hands-Only CPR.  Rotarians will learn how to recognize and evaluate a cardiac emergency, what steps to take and how to safely perform life-saving CPR.   In addition to instruction, Rotarians will be able to practice at their tables with the help of additional Red Cross staff and volunteers. 
Youth Exchange Visitor
Beth VanDeWege's guest at Wednesdays meeting was Haemish Sait who was a youth exchange student from Australia with our club in 2010.  He is staying with Rotarian Anne Miller who was one of his host families in 2010.
He is traveling with his girlfriend Darcy Shipsides as they visit Wyoming and other parts of the USA.

Last Wednesday we honored two PHF recipients. Congratulations to both Barbara and Randy.
Barbara Stafford received both her PHF and her PHF+1.
Randy Bruns received his PHF +7.
Rooted in Cheyenne Tree Planting
Save The Date! Volunteer to plant trees with The @rootedincheyenne Crew on May 14th for their 2022 Spring Planting Day event!
We are asking for those volunteering for the morning shift to show up at the Forestry Shop located at 4300 Converse Ave at 7:30 and those volunteering for the afternoon shift to show up at noon. Volunteers can plan to plant trees for 3-4 hours. Breakfast and lunch will be provided along with a free t-shirt.

Ft. Collins Breakfast Rotary Memorial Day Field of Honor
On May 27-30, Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary Club will present its second annual Field of Honor® American Flag Display near Veteran’s Plaza at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins, CO.
The Field of Honor® is a spectacular display of 500 American flags, each with a medallion honoring a special hero. Heroes are veterans, living or deceased, active military, first responders, medical workers, teachers and personal heroes. The field of red, white and blue is a powerful experience and provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to remember and honor their many heroes.  Medallions can be purchased for $50.00 each at rotaryfcbreakfast.org.
