City of Cheyenne Update

Mayor Patrick Collins

Patrick Collins was sworn in as Cheyenne's Mayor on January 4, 2021. Please join us Wednesday as Mayor Collins gives us an update on the state of the City of Cheyenne.

Consider a Rotarian

This week, we considered 2 Rotarians. Pat Swallow, Vice President of Asset Recovery and Kevin Rutar, Chief Lending Officer both of Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union. Pat and Kevin told us about Meridian Trust and how it was first charted in 1954 as the Wyoming Employee's Credit Union and how it was located in the basement of the Capital building here in Cheyenne. A couple of years later it moved into a garage then they purchased the property where the Warren Ave building is located. Meridian branched out into Scottsbluff, NE in 2013, Wellington, CO in 2020 and their newest location is the 3rd branch in Cheyenne located at 1602 Prairie Ave. Meridian Trust's mission is to help their members meet their financial goals. They are a full service credit union that supports small business and gives back to the community.

Winner of the 2021 Sport Bronco

Kevin Harris and our speaker, Pete Obermueller, draw the winning ticket for the Bronco.

Thanks to all who purchased tickets or helped to sell tickets for the Bronco Sport raffle. The club was able to send over $50,000 to the Cheyenne Rotary Foundation because of the funds raised. The winners at the drawing last Wednesday are:
