The Jae Foundation

Jansen Curry is the Executive Director for Wyoming at the Jae Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention. She is also the author of the Ione McCreery book series and creator of The Tall Mom blog. The Jae Foundation Official Website was established to honor the legacy of Jae Bob Bing. The organization promotes mental health awareness through a simple, organic concept known as the "Boot Check." This encourages friends and loved ones to take a moment to pause, check in with each other about their mental and emotional well-being, and talk openly about their struggles. Key initiatives and details about the organization include: The Senior Boot Program; The foundation partners with high schools to provide cowboy boots to graduating seniors, encouraging them to remember Jae's story and prioritize mental health as they enter a new chapter. Jae's Place; The foundation opened a new headquarters in Casper, Wyoming, which serves as a central community hub for mental health outreach and support. This August, Cheyenne Rotary will welcome TWO NEW EXCHANGE STUDENTS: Neto from Brazil and Elisa from Italy, who will live and study in Cheyenne through June 2027. Help us show them that the entire club is happy they’re here by contributing two small gifts to the welcome baskets located at the Sergeant-At-Arm's table at our weekly Wednesday meetings. Some ideas: • candy • snacks • coffee gift cards • school supplies • chapstick and hand lotion • lapel pins  •  invitations and tickets for local events • an English-language book you enjoy • a nice note telling them why Cheyenne is so special!

Remember, there is not meeting on Wednesday, July 22 because of CFD.

Peaches pickup day is August 5.

There will be no regular meeting on August 19.  We will enjoy a picnic in the evening on the Hathaway's Restuarant Patio at Little America.
