New member Andy Dykeshorn was introduced to the Club by his sponsor Dave Bartlett.
Andy moved to Colorado Springs at the ripe old age of 2 from Iowa when his father opened Rampart High School, Go Rams, to teach music. Growing up in the Springs brought opportunities to camp, fish, ski, play baseball and soccer. Upon graduating from high school, Go Rams, in the nineteen hundreds, Andrew made his way to University of Wyoming and never left Wyoming, Go Pokes. He joined the fire department in February of 2001, reached his goal of becoming a paramedic and has held most ranks throughout his career. He says he has been blessed to serve our community for so many years in this capacity. Most importantly Andrew enjoys raising his family here in Cheyenne, has 3 daughters and one son spanning 3 to 23 years in age. Andrew's wife Jennifer is the trauma program manager for CRMC and has been in nursing for 15 years. She's a track athlete from UW so he doesn't try to keep up and mostly cheats in a foot race. Both he and Jennifer love to cook and enjoy trying all kinds of foods, and love to adventure through life together.Andrew wishes to say thank you for the opportunity to be a part of Rotary.
